It has occurred to me, more and more lately, that my old Droid 4 is...just a touch outdated.
I was thinking of picking up a Moto G4 Plus, but I've been trying to look for alternatives; past flagships and such, for example. One of the more promising ones to come up, since it has bootloader unlocking "available" and appears to meet or blast right past some of the other requirements I have in mind, is the Droid Turbo.
Questions:
And finally, as the title says...would you recommend a Droid Turbo over other phones from this year or last?

Questions:
- su4tl-49 is the latest OTA, and as it has already been cracked, I needn't worry about a seller on eBay having unwittingly updated, correct?
- Any cell reception issues over CDMA?
- How is the durability? I would probably get a case (something I haven't bothered with since my LG Ally, since the Droid 4 is built like a brick...wow, that'll be different), but being able to use the phone "naked" without worrying about it exploding at the least encouragement would be nice.
- Is image retention a serious issue for this screen?
- How bad actually is the overheating problem I've read about here and there?
- Any not-immediately-apparent crippling design defects to worry about, or common factory defects to look out for when buying used?
And finally, as the title says...would you recommend a Droid Turbo over other phones from this year or last?
