For those unaware, Energy Aware Scheduling is a modified Linux Power Scheduler system that works for ARM CPUs. Once implemented, the goal is to use less power and in turn have a cooler device (not trivial for an 810 device) that's overall more efficient. Thanks to the work from XDA Recognized Contributor PDesire and XDA Recognized Developer zacharias.maladroit, they were able to port this system to the Xperia Z5 Premium. The kernel has not been released yet but it is said to increase idle time by 50%, improve battery life and keep the Snapdragon 810 cool.
