For the last couple of years, Google has been holding hardware events in the Fall. They announced the original Google Pixel and Pixel XL in October 2016. Last October they showed off the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL along with Pixel Buds and new Google Home devices. So everyone is assuming we'll see the Pixel 3/3 XL this Fall. Evan Blass has confirmed this and added some news about a Pixel smartwatch.
Besides the Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, and second-gen Pixel Buds, a reliable source tells me — with high confidence — that Google's fall hardware event will also introduce a Pixel-branded watch. Have a great summer!

Blass confirms that we will indeed see the Pixel 3/3XL at the Fall hardware event. He goes on to mention we will also see the next generation of the Pixel Buds. Lastly, and probably the most exciting part of this, is a Pixel-branded smartwatch. People have been wanting Google to make their own smartwatch for a long time. With the change in branding to Wear OS, it sounds like Google may finally be taking it more seriously.
We don't have any other information to go on at this time. The next-gen Pixel devices were assumed by everyone, so that's no big surprise. Pixel Buds have certainly not been the hit that Google was hoping for. It will be interesting to see how they improve. The Pixel smartwatch could end up being the star of the show. We'll likely see some leaks and rumors pop up this summer.
