Devices: Samsung Galaxy S4, Google Nexus 7
Filetype: mkv (Yibis fansubs)
I am encountering a strange syncing issue with subtitles after updating to 1.8.3 (w/ arm v7 codec, I believe the issue began at 1.8.0, though). The subtitles are displaying a few seconds after the audio, but it is not a consistent delay so I can't just offset it. It appears to be displaying the subtitles after the 'current' audio finishes, so for example if someone says "Hey!", one second later it will display the subtitle. But if someone says a long 5-10 second speech, it will only display the subtitle after they are done speaking.
The previous version (1.7.32) did not have this issue. I've gone back and checked previous video files and they have the same subtitle issue now when played on v1.8.3.
I have not seen this issue posted anywhere else, and it appears to only affect mkv's from "Yibis fansubs". I have asked on their forums and have confirmed nothing about their encoding process has changed recently.
I would greatly appreciate any help resolving this :).
