My pc first and finally booted Remix v2.0.202 cause it had a processor problem. But comes another stuff, the Nvidia card.
The nouveau driver works with full resolution and good performance, but it starts flickering from the Android x86 logo and later on fastly. The flickering party stops when nothing is moving on the screen, but when there's any activity even moving mouse causes fast flickering. Other drivers like i915 and uvesa work without flickering but lag too much and have low resolutions and no wallpaper showing.
Dmesg shows msgs related to reaching undervolting threshold.
This thing always happens with most other linux distro and is usually solved by installing Nvidia proprietary driver. Can we find a way to install it on Remix? Can we run the .run file?
My PC:
Compaq CQ60 207EE
AMD Athlon QL-62 2.00 Ghz
3 GB RAM
GeForce 8200m graphics card.
