I'm wanting to upgrade my Gigaset QV830 to at least Lollipop, currently the highest it seems to want to go on it's own is Jellybean.
I've never even rooted something before so I'm not entirely sure what I'd need to do in order to work any of this but I'm wondering if it's currently possible to use a ROM image to upgrade it to Lollipop?
It has a built-in ROM applying software but when I try to update the system with Lollipop ROMs for various phones it says it's installing but just ends up restarting it with no changes.
