i have a lenovo a1000 (phone) with Spreadtrum SC7731 chipset. last week i tried to download an update via wifi, after the phone tried to install it ended up with an error. the phone appeared to hang so i pushed the power button and nothing happened, still got the same error message. i ended up pulling out the battery. now when the phone is turned on, its just the lenovo and powered by android logo, nothing happens.
no defects on hardware just the software that's broken. a technician friend of mine said that it can be fixed with a firmware. anyone out here who can please point me to the proper link. i am searching for a day or so not but i cant find the correct page. the one i downloaded previously doesn't work. :(
